DIAL was a short-lived band from Te Whanganui-a-Tara. This EP is a five track document of how to make music that hits as heavy as concrete. Kōpēa co-founder Cameron Reid played drums for the band from 2006 to 2007, and performed on this recording. This EP was first self-released by the band in 2007 on CD-R, before being reissued and repackaged on CD by cult US label, Robotic Empire. Reid and bass guitarist Alex Backhouse went on to form the industrial punk band Society, vocalist Tali Williams moved to Tāmaki Makaurau and started Human Resource, and guitarist Richard Burns played in Strangers and Neon Bastard.
